The For You Photo Gallery
For the first time, For You assembles an incredible array of unpublished and original photographs. They capture and illustrate Bruce's long music and concert career in all of its heady excitement: the Steel Mill days; the 1970s pre-Born to Run period, the breakthrough tour of the Born to Run album in 1975; the critically acclaimed tour for the Darkness on the Edge of Town album, and so much more.
Be it at Fenway Park with Bruce trying to end the Curse of the Bambino, the lone spotlight on Bruce singing Thunder Road simply with Roy Bittan on the piano, The Boss and the Big Man creating perfect synergy during Badlands on the 1978 Darkness Tour, the sheer force of Born in the U.S.A. on the 1984-85 BITUSA Tour, the carnival-like start of the 1988 Tunnel of Love tour, or one of those unforgettable moments during the Reunion tour when faith was restored - Bruce was back where he always belonged - on stage with the E Street Band.
…and so on right up to mid-2007. For You has it all.
Over 400 photos - For You
There are almost 500 photographs contributed by more than 70 different photographers. This makes For You one of the best collections of Bruce Springsteen photos ever assembled. And one you will want to look at time and time again.
These photos run the gamut of his career, capturing Bruce in the early days as part of Steel Mill in 1971 right up to the Music for Youth Benefit in March 2007. Most, coming as they have from Springsteen's generous, supportive and life-long fans, have never been seen before, and/or not reproduced in such detail and superb quality.
See Preview For You for a description of the production of the book.
